OceanLearn (OL) is the International Ocean Institute’s system-wide programme of capacity building activities in ocean science and governance. 

 

OceanLearn includes the coordination, delivery, quality assurance and development of global partnerships in capacity building.

 

OceanLearn aims to deliver high quality and cost-effective training and education to professionals who wish to remain at the forefront of the rapidly changing fields of ocean science and governance.

The OceanLearn Implementation Committee (OLIC), responsible for the overall management of OL, also ensures the rigorous application of high quality standards and cost-effective deliveries. OL is responsive to client needs, and its pedagogic experts will work with governments, organisations, and individuals to provide customised training in topics such as applied sciences, law, policy, and management.

 

OceanLearn is affiliated and partnered with institutions spanning all the oceans. OceanLearn can tap into resources and expertise that are the forefront of ocean science and governance.
